This has long been a problem in OOTP, but it needs to be corrected. On certain hit-and-run plays, the runner at first will often hesitate until the batted ball falls into play and then will advance two bases way too late. Based on the animation, the runner would easily be thrown out on a relay throw because the fielder fields the ball before the runner reaches second. But OOTP just has the runner keep going on the delayed action and reach third base with no relay throw attempt to that base. The animation should be updated for hit-and-run plays so they look more realistic and natural, without taking away these successes. There are already plays where a hit-and-run can fail and result in a double-play or even a triple-play. We just need these hesitation instances fixed. Two examples are included below.
