The St. Louis Cardinals have placed left-handed reliever pitcher Juilo Robaina on the 15-day injured list after he left their 6-5 10-inning win over Pittsburgh on April 7 with a shoulder injury.
Robaina, 24, is expected to miss up to eight weeks.
Acquired through the Rule 5 Draft, Robiana got into just two games for St. Louis before getting injured.
He pitched one inning allowing one save and a 0.00 ERA.
Onelki Garcia, 35, who St. Louis acquired from Arizona in the offseason will join the Cardinals roster.
At AAA Memphis this season, Garcia has pitched in three games going 0-0 with two saves and a 6.75 ERA.
