The St. Louis Cardinals have placed right-handed relief pitcher Bryan Baker on the 15-day injured list after he left a 2-0 loss to the Colorado Rockies on May 28 with a sore shoulder.
Baker, 30, has pitched in 19 games this season going 1-1 with one save and a 4.58 ERA.
Taking Baker's place on the roster will be right-hander Ryan Helsley.
Helsley, 30, has been out since March 17 when he suffered a strained hamstring in a spring training game against Atlanta.
He did make one re-hab appearance for Memphis on May 28, throwing a scoreless inning.
