State of the Team

The team sits at 54-75 after a sub-.500 August, and with rosters expanding, Myles Straw returns from the Injured List and Triston McKenzie is demoted to the bullpen in favor of Cody Morris (2.5, 3). The offseason will be one of soul-searching as we attempt to sort the pitching staff out and try to improve the offense meaningfully where we can.

News Dump

Austin Hedges was signed to a $3.4M/1yr extension with a 2nd-year team option. His strong defense and game-calling earned him a spot on the team next year as Bo Naylor develops.
