Cards news: July 25 -- Shawn Holman is named scouting director
The St. Louis Cardinals have announced that Shawn Holman has been hired as their new director of scouting.
He replaces Luke Scott, who was hired last season.
Scott seemed to have issues fitting in with the rest of management and the coaching staff.
