If you expanded MLB, what team names would you select?
Have you ever wanted to get nickname ideas from others, but didn't want to wait for the responses or comb through old threads? Well, maybe
this spreadsheet will come in handy in the future. Just fill out the below form to give your input first.
I've started this project a few times before, but in the past I've just gone through old nickname threads for different cities and sooner or later I just gave up as it's a pretty tedious task. But then it occured to me yesterday, we could make a Google form that would not only make it interactive and catch input in the future, but it would also greatly cut down on the work.
Who knows, if we get enough data maybe we can convince OOTP to pull expansion team nicknames based on the city from a curated list.
Form #1 is for the following cities (based on the recent odds of what cities will get expansion teams):
