Game 1: The Rays romped in the opener against the Sunbirds at Publix Park, going up 6-0 after two and winning 8-2. It was a two-man show on offense with Jon Morales going 3-3 with a pair of homers (#31 & 32) and 4 RBI and Juan Davila equaling his output with a pair of his own (#29 & 30) and driving in three. The two also combined to score 6 of the team's 8 runs today. Alec McInerney (9-1) cruised to the win going 6.2 6 1 1 1 5.

Game 2: Steve Morris and the Rays got enough offense to beat Oklahoma City 4-1 in the second game. Morris improved to 15-4 with a tidy 7 6 1 1 0 4 outing and Steve Talbott earned his MLB-best 41st save. Jon Morales swung the big bat again, driving in a pair with a solo homer (#33) and an RBI single.
