A tough one...
Things didn't start off great today for the Rays when they found out
Joe Marlette wouldn't be able to start due to a stomach bug; he'll take the mound tomorrow for Game 4 instead. And they fell behind 4-1 against Miami ace Jerrod Keeshan. But it looked like they might just salvage the day after all when they put on a huge rally in the late innings to tie the game at 4 in the 9th with
Danny Arroyave coming through in the clutch again with an RBI double to even it up after
Orlando Tosado had homered. But all that ended up doing was prolonging the misery as the bats couldn't get anything going at all in extras and eventually the Marlins scored in the 14th to win it as the Rays put a lot of wear and tear on their bullpen for nothing in the end.
