Taking on the 1993 Rockies, YouTube Video Series

I wanted to move this thread from the OOTP 23 forum (here- https://forums.ootpdevelopments.com/...d.php?t=340312 ... with the final post here- https://forums.ootpdevelopments.com/...18#post5008718 )

Started as the 1993 Rockies and am all the way into 2008 at this point. Settings are- Import Historical Rookies to Original Teams (so that you have variance via free agency & trades, but many good players come up w/ the organizations they were with in IRL)...hard trade mode...otherwise all settings on as realistic as possible (scouting accuracy depends on your scout...financials kept the same...etc.).

It has been quite the journey and generally I do at least 3 videos per season. Check it out if you like seeing some old 90's into 2000's names...not just Rockies players but around the league (with many surprises as well of course, due to the development engine). After our first World Series win in 2006, I had decided to turn duties over to my actual manager (rather than entering the games and simming like I had done...every game from '93-'06).

So now, it moves along a bit quicker per season, and my manager makes the decisions. I am the actual GM, rather than basically taking the role of both GM & Manager by entering the games.

What I love about the Rockies is lots of challenges. We started as a small market team...pitching has, is, and will always be, extremely tough. And you really have to be careful giving high $ contracts to certain players because you don't know how they'll pan out if they're a) pitchers...or b) if they're just "Coors Field products" as hitters.

Below is the start of the new thread here on the OOTP 24 forum.
