I have not. Certainly not with AI stealing on computer teams, which, if anything, seems suppressed. (But then I can adjust the sliders for stealing for the sim.) Of course I recall the specific times my good base stealers were thrown out by a mediocre catcher. One things I’ve learned - not a hack unless abused - is to choose “run and hit” with a good basestealer on first (and a decent contact hitter). Many times the batter doesn’t swing, or swings and misses, and the runner is safe - more often than a straight steal. Of course, the risk is a line drive double play, which also happens. But another benefit is avoiding a double play on a ground ball, because the runner is already at second base and can’t be forced.
