Unbelievable...
If you thought the Rays' pitching in Game 2 was bad, get a load of Game 3. It looked like they might have a shot in this one as Zeke Avalos's 2-run double in the 5th put them up 6-4 as they kept responding to New York scoring. But the wheels came off in a 7-run 5th with Jimmy Bernal, who had been so good this year in middle/long relief, throwing meatballs to Yankee hitters. So now it's up to Alec McInerney tomorrow to try to hold this suddenly explosive Yankee offense in check as they've gone from 0 to 8 to 15 runs in the 3 games so far.
