I think when you say diamond cards and below, you mean a week long league, not the already existing tournament which only allows diamond cards and below.

So, I had a brainstorm: each week in addition to the regular league play which we all know and love, how about having a wild card league with a different format each week? Basically, an existing tournament format expanded to 162 game league play. Players who participate earn achievement points at 1/2 the normal rate in both normal league play and wild card league play. Champions of all the wild card leagues meet in a final do or die tournament to determine the overall champion (in lieu of promotion/relegation).
