Game 1: 7-3 W. WP-Eldridge (1-0, 7.1 6 2 2 3 4). HR-Santana (4), Albies (1), B.Jordan (2). A trio of 2-run homers and a fine outing from Eldridge got the Rays into the win column for only the second time this season.

Game 2: 1-5 L. LP-Bradley (0-1, 6 6 4 4 1 5). The offense only managed 6 hits as the Rays resumed their 2029 losing ways.

Transaction: Robby Castillo comes off the restricted list and Mitsuyoshi Arakawa is sent back to Durham.

Game 3: 1-5 L. LP-Orze (0-2, 5 6 4 4 0 9). HR-Franco (1). Almost a carbon copy of yesterday's game as this time they only had five hits. This team looks really bad.

Team record: 2-7. Next up: Back home for 3 against the White Sox, a team off to a similarly-terrible 2-8 start.
