The St. Louis Cardinals have acquired 2026 All-Star outfielder Robert Neustrom from the Oakland Athletics in exchange for infielder Jeremy Rivas and minor-league starting pitcher JonJon Vaughns.

In the majors, Rivas got into 14 games/10 starts and hit .158 with one home run and one RBIs.
Selected by the Cardinals in the 19th round of the 2023 draft, Vaughns has spent the 2026 season at High-A Peoria where he has pitched in three games/one start going 1-0 with a 4.00 ERA.
