One for the Mathematically-Inclined

Don't under any circumstances take this as a bug report or a dig at the game, it is purely to satisfy my own curiosity.

Heading into the final 3-game series of the regular season, a particular set of standings look like this:

In that final series, Laurel is playing Asbury Park.

Am I correct in assuming the following:
  • There is no possibility of Laurel and Asbury Park finishing tied in the standings?
  • Both Seaford and Hagerstown are, in fact, mathematically eliminated (from the division race, at least) because there is no actual way for them to leapfrog both Laurel and Asbury Park? If so, do you think the IRL official standings would show them as such, with an "e" next to their name?

Appreciate any clarification and / or insights.
