What a strange game! Despite committing 6 errors in the field AND having 6 of its baserunners thrown out while attempting to steal, the Boston Americans (53-18) somehow manager to top the St. Louis Browns (30-41) by a score of 4 to 2.

Noodles Hahn (12-6) picked up the win by allowing 2 runs (0 earned) on 10 hits for a Game Score of 66. Frank Owen pitched a respectable game (2 earned runs on 10 hits, Game Score of 57) but did not factor into the decision.
