The St. Louis Cardinals have sent shortstop Masyn Winn to AAA Memphis and called infielder Cameron Cauley from the Redbirds.
Winn, 25, has struggled through the first 12 games of the season -- he made nine game/nine starts -- hitting just .036 with one RBI.
Cauley, 24, has started all 11 of the Memphis' games and hit .375 with three home runs and three RBIs.
The Cardinals acquired Cauley in a trade with the Rangers on July 3.
He played 18 games/12 starts with the Cardinals, hitting .192 with one home run and five RBIs.
