Tigers cut veteran outfielder, Jake Marisnick

The Detroit Tigers designated veteran outfielder Jake Marisnick for assignment on Sunday shortly after wrapping up the first part of the season with a loss to the Toronto Blue Jays.
The Tigers will add another position player to the roster to replace Marisnick when they open the second part of the season after the All-Star break.
Left-handed hitting infielder Nick Maton is one of the likeliest candidates to be promoted to Detroit.
