With the end of the April roster expansion, the St. Louis Cardinals have sent outfielder Corbin Carroll to AAA Memphis.
The team's starting center fielder to begin the season, Carroll, 26, has hit just .127 with no homer and one RBI.
Acquired from the Arizona Diamondbacks on July 29, 2025, Carroll got off to a good start in his time with the Cardinals.
He hit .276 in 54 games with seven homers and 24 RBIs.
But his performance took a big step back in 2026, when his batting average dipped to .196 with seven home runs and 35 RBIs in 110 games/100 RBIs.
