ngl though in reality I’ve been solely tempted to add ties or the ghost runner in the early 70s save I’m running. I like to look at news of the day in parallel and one thing that happened in real life during the season I’m playing is that the Twins and Brewers played a 21 inning game one day (it was actually halted by curfew and resumed the next day) and a 15 inning one the next. Some might look at this as, like, tight and tense or something but I personally find a whole ass extra game of futility to be horribly boring and sometimes a bit frustrating when you’ve basically fired all the weapons you have available and are now watching some scrub long reliever facing off against the backup catcher and backup middle infielder, both of whom can’t hit .200, in the 16th.
