Wes Mendes conspired to allow 4 runs in the 8th after the Rays were nursing a 3-2 lead into the inning. They fought back on a 2-run
Nate Strickland single to get within one, and in the 9th with two out put men on 1st and 3rd only for
Wander Franco to hit a scorcher right at the Rangers' Corbin Carroll. So
Danny Morales will try to get things right again in a couple of days in Arlington.
