Just the two games in this Rangers series, meaning this is our final game against the Texans this season. It features veteran Charlie Hough for them and southpaw Bruce Hurst for us. Let’s hope we can swing the axes a bit better than we did yesterday.

An error helps them put one on the board without a hit in the 2nd, and yet again it is the pitchers in the ascendancy early until they explode with 4 runs in the 4th and, just like that, Hurst is gone.
They extend their lead with another run in the next as we have just a double by yours truly to show for our ABs to this point.
We get one at the death to avoid consecutive shutouts but this is another scratchy offensive performance with just 4 hits to our credit.
