A hitting-attack that was firing on all cylinders today, as the Boston Americans (73-33) trounced the Chicago White Sox (44-62) by a score of 18 to 5.

Sam Leever (18-6) was the beneficiary of the offense, picking up the win after allowing 5 runs (2 earned) on 8 hits and 1 walk to finish with a Game Score of 58. Brickyard Kennedy (12-15) lasted just 4 2/3 innings before he left the game after allowing 9 runs (8 earned) on 13 hits, 1 walk, and 1 wild pitch; Game Score of 3. Bock Baker pitched 2/3 innings of relief but was yanked after giving up 7 runs (4 earned) on 3 hits, 3 walks, and 1 hit batsman.
