Another tough win...
The Rays piled up the runs early and then hung on as the bullpen did its job today in a 5-4 win that puts Tampa Bay one game away from the ALCS. Tim Johnson had his issues but persevered into the 7th and the Steves took over from there with Morris getting through the 8th and Talbott pitching around a leadoff hit to preserve the victory. Luis Barela continues to age like fine wine as he homered again today and Ruben Ramirez hit his first homer since mid-August after returning from injury. Alec McInerney will get the ball for Game 3 in Anaheim.
Old friend Bob Riley pitched Houston to victory and we just might be facing him in the next round.
