American League Player of the Week
The recent Boston Americans win streak is due, in large part, to the outstanding hitting of outfielder Bill Lange. In picking up American League Player of the Week honors, Lange went 11 for 22 (.500 batting average) with 1 Double, 5 Runs, 7 RBIs, 2 Walks, and 4 Stolen Bases to finish with a slash line of .500/.542/.545; good for a 219 OPS+ and 0.5 WAR on the week. This is Lange's first PofW award.
