Back in the series...
The Rays responded by taking what was essentially a must-win game, beating Houston 7-5 to trim the Astros' series lead to 2-1. A couple of solo homers kept them in it early while Alec McInerney was struggling, then a couple more tied and kick-started a 5-run 5th that won the game for them. McInerney settled down and made it through 6, and I did something I don't normally do, go with my closer for a 2-inning save as I've lost confidence in Mario Berumen. Steve Talbott did the job but after throwing 35 pitches is questionable for Game 4. Let's win big so we don't need him. Melvin Lopez will get the ball for the first time this postseason trying to get us even.
