National League Player of the Week
Not the most-likely player to take home an award, but St. Louis Cardinals outfielder Herm McFarland put together a fine string of games to take home the National League Player of the Week award. In picking up the honors, McFarland went 10 for 23 (.435 batting average) with 3 Doubles, 3 Homeruns, 5 Runs, 7 RBIs, and 1 Walk to finish with a slash line of .435/.458/.957 that resulted in a 319 OPS+ and 0.7 WAR.
