Another extra-innings affair that ended with the Boston Americans (79-39) scoring a run in the 15th inning to get the 8 to 7 victory over the Cleveland Bronchos (52-66).

While Boston's Sam Leever did not factor into the decision, he pitched well enough (7 runs, 4 earned on 12 hits and 3 walks; Game Score 47) to keep his team in contention. Newly acquired Jake Boyd (the AI moved him to the majors with roster expansion) pitched 2 solid innings to then turn the ball over to Ham Iburg (2-2) who picked up the win for his 3 innings of play.
