Game #6 – April 4 – loanDepot Park
The Marlins took a 1-0 lead in the 1st inning, but Jhonkensey Noel tied it with an RBI single in the top of the 3rd. Miami retook the lead in the bottom of the inning when Jazz Chisholm singled with 2 outs, stole second, and scored on an Adam Duvall base hit.
Jose Iglesias singled to tie the game at 2 in the top of the 4th. Owen Miller followed with a double into the right-centerfield gap, scoring 2 runs to give Charlotte a 4-2 lead. Brandon Drury singled home Miller to drive Nate Pearson from the game. Touki Toussaint retired Noel to end the inning.
The Marlins got a run back in the bottom of the 4th, but Mike Clevinger retired the last 7 men he faced before giving way to Kutter Crawford in the 7th.
Owen Miller blasted his 1st HR of the season, a 420 foot shot to LF, to make it a 6-3 game. Adam Duvall hit a 9th inning home run off of A. J. Puk, but Puk retired the side for his 2nd save.
