The Dodgers finished the season 90-72, tying the St. Louis Cardinals for the second National League wild card.
The Arizona Diamondbacks finished one game shy of tying for that wild-card berth.
Los Angeles last made the World Series in 2024, when it defeated the Minnesota Twins.
