In my case, unless they are top 1 or 2 starters, I prefer to have starters with this type of ratings:

Stuff between 45 and 55
Movement greater than 55
Control greater than 50
Stamina greater than 55

And that they have 4 or more pitches, these types of pitchers will give you a lot of stability.

And in a modern game (from the first day of simulation) or historical game after several years it is not so difficult to get them through free agency or trades with other teams.
