Roger "The Duke of Tralee" Bresnahan put on a batting display last week to take home American League Player of the Week honors. The Tigers catcher batted an impressive .571 (12 for 21) with 1 Double, 2 Triples, 4 Runs, 5 RBIs and 1 Walk to finish with a slash line of .571/.565/.810 which was good for a 309 OPS+ and 0.6 WAR. This is Bresnahan's 1st award.
