National League Player of the Week
For the 5th time this season (9th overall), Cincinnati Reds star 2nd baseman Nap Lajoie was named the National League Player of the Week. In picking up his latest honors, Lajoie smashed the ball to the tune of a .577 batting average (15 for 26) with 3 Doubles, 2 Triples, 3 Runs, 9 RBIs, and 2 Walks to finish with a slash line of .577/.621/.846 which resulted in a 329 OPS+ and 0.8 WAR.
