If we can drop one game farther back and let the Nats pass us, then we and the Yankees will both be in last place, chasing that elusive double-cellar that New York has never achieved.
Granted, we both have fairly decent records for last-place teams. But considering that we've spent more on these players than the GDP of [insert name of country, I'm skipping the research], a combined 115-127 is still pretty embarrassing.

I just got off the phone with Zack Wheeler. I grant you it's not that Zack Wheeler, but rather some guy at my bank (who could be Zach or Zac or Zak, for all I know), but I still asked him to come back and help the Mets, on general principles.
