Are you still in Forbes Field? This should be the last year before Three Rivers, right? If so, no wonder ticket sales are down. But there should be a big bump with the new stadium.

I’m a big Tony Oliva fan, but I think Zisk and Robertson was too much to pay. They will be starters long after Oliva has gone to DH and then retirement. Definitely a win-now mode for you.

I’m afraid that Larry Brown is one of those guys (like Gene Alley) who was all but washed up at age 30, after a good early career. Not sure why. Tovar is a good pickup, though. Potential leadoff hitter for you. And your pitching staff is potentially dominant.
