American League Player of the Week
Nearing the end of his playing career, St. Louis Browns outfielder Patsy Donovan showed that he still had something left in the tank, as he strung together a fine hitting week to take home American League Player of the Week honors. In picking up the award, Donovan batted .458 (11 for 24) with 4 Runs, 5 RBIs, 2 Doubles, and 2 Walks for a slash line of .458/.500/.542 which was good for a 215 OPS+ and 0.5 WAR.
