For the 4th time in his young career, Rube Waddell has picked up American League Pitcher of the Month honors. As many have come to expect from Waddell, he strung together an outstanding record of 7-1 with a 1.44 ERA in 68 2/3 innings of play, allowing 11 earned runs while limiting the opposition to 0.95 WHIP and had 47 K's to just 13 BB. Waddell finished the month with a 203 OPS+ and 2.3 WAR.
