Nov 15th, 2015 - Toronto captain Dion Phaneuf was suspended for seven games for a violent headshot on Rangers defenseman Ryan McDonagh in the first shift of their game last night. McDonagh has a concussion and will be out indefinitely.
Nov 30th, 2015 - Capitals forward Alex Ovechkin took home player of the month honours. Alex currently has 15 goals and 25 points through 23 games. Semyon Varlamov of Colorado earned goalie of the month honours. He is up to 6 shutouts on the season and sports a .927 save percentage.
