The St. Louis Cardinals have sent 32-year-old left-handed relief pitcher Packy Naughton to AAA Memphis and called up 27-year-old lefty Nathaniel Heredia from the Redbirds.
Naughton has pitched in 23 games for St. Louis going 1-1 with a save and a 4.50 ERA.
Heredia has already pitched in seven games for the Cardinals this season, going 0-0 with a 0.00 ERA.
After being sent to Memphis, he has worked in five games going 1-0 with a 2.19 ERA.
