American League Platinum Pitcher
Despite a somewhat slow start, Washington Senators ace Rube Waddell stormed back with a 15-3 record in his final 18 decisions to finish the season with a 22-14 record and a 1.70 ERA to take home his 2nd consecutive the American League Platinum Pitcher award. Waddell's outstanding pitching resulted with leading the league in ERA, Innings Pitched (354), Strikeouts (263), WHIP (1.03), K/9 (6.7), Saves (4), and WAR (11.8). There is little doubt that Waddell is the best pitcher in the MLB.
