In earning the award, Wagner batted .320 (187 for 584) and led the league in Runs (99), Hits, Triples (17), Total Bases (261), and WAR (9.2). Wagner finished the season with a slash line of .320/.372/.447 which resulted in a 141 OPS+ and wRC+ of 148.
