The Dodgers took a 1-0 lead in the top of the 1st inning, and made it 2-0 on a Zach McKinstry double in the 2nd. Owen Miller broke out of his slump with a 2-run double in the bottom of 2nd to tie the game.
Cody Bellinger doubled home a run in the 4th to give the Dodgers a 3-2 lead. Will Smith followed with his 5th HR of the year to make it a 5-2 game. Smith hit his 2nd HR of the game, a 2-run shot, off of Kutter Crawford in the 6th to make it 7-2. The Dodgers added another run on a McKinstry double in the 8th.
AJ Puk entered the game in the 9th to get some work and left after 2 batters with an injury.
