Game #56 – May 28 – Knights Field
The Dodgers scored 2 runs before Mike Clevinger recorded an out and led 3-0 after the 1st half-inning. The Knights loaded the bases in the bottom of the 1st but could not score. Jhonkensey Noel hit his 11th home.run of the season, a 387 foot shot to LF to lead off the bottom of the 4th.
Clevinger settled down after this rough 1st inning and shut out the Dodgers over the next five. He struck out 9 batters. Nick Robertson relieved to start the 7th and retired the side in order. Austin Adams pitched a scoreless 8th but gave up a run in the 9th.
The Knights managed just 5 hits and could never really get anything going against Dodgers pitching after the 1st inning.
