I guess it's the Pennsylvania state bird. Well anyone from Philly would tell you that Philly is one thing and Pennsylvania is somewhere else
It reminded me that since I already made a ton of specific NY logos, I should make a bunch of Philly teams
edit: I looked up the grouse and it actually looks great. Also it could fit with that weird few years where the Phillies
rebranded as the Blue Jays. It's a great name, kinda of like that legend where Franklin proposed the turkey as the national bird rather than the eagle. Why not the grouse?
