The league is definitely top-heavy right now. There may be other actual contenders, but it appears Roxbury, County Crossing, Jamaica Plain, and Nordhagen Beach are the teams truly battling for the right to the title this season.
I thought a few other teams would be more competitive, like the Reapers. I did not expect them to be a playoff team, but I did expect closer to a .400 win percentage than a .200 one. As I have mentioned, an ideal range is for the top teams to be around .600 and the bottom teams to be around .400. I am not getting those results even with the 125 Talent Change Randomness.
Again, I have to remember that the short-term returns are not as problematic as the long-term returns. When I used a test sim into the future, every franchise seemed to have its turn at some point. Based on the minor-league ratings, there are some teams that are either going to get a lot of talent coming up soon or they'll trade those prospects away for trusty veterans who will make them competitive sooner.
