Game 1: 1-6 L. LP-Eldridge (1-9, 4.2 9 5 5 2 6). HR-Luciano (9). Bryce Eldridge's nightmare season continues and the bats slumbered too.
Game 2: 7-3 W. WP-Khattak (10-2, 6 4 3 3 4 2). HR-Haro 2 (6), Caminero (11). Khattak meanwhile is the anti-Eldridge and Nelson Haro had the best game of his young career going 3-4 with 2 HR and 5 RBI to provide ample support.
Game 3: 1-2 L (11). LP-R.Rodriguez (1-7). Starter-Bradley (8 2 1 1 0 6). HR-Y.Alvarez (16). An extremely frustrating finale for the Rays as they couldn't get the big hit, leaving 13 on base and failing to make Giants pitching pay for 9 walks.
Team record: 41-36. Their wild card rivals struggled as well this weekend and the Rays are actually in the first wild card, 1/2 game ahead of Toronto and Texas. They did drop 4 behind first-place Boston. Next up: Arizona visits for 3 games.
