Game 1: 2-0 W. WP-German (7-3, 7 5 0 0 1 6). S-V.Gonzalez (1). HR-Caminero (12). Caminero's 2-run homer in the 1st stood up thanks in large part to German, who lowered his AL-best ERA to 2.20.

Game 2: 5-4 W. WP-Okuda (1-2). S-R.Rodriguez (15). Starter-Evans (6 4 4 4 3 6). RBI doubles from Mesa, Caminero and Yordan Alvarez in the 7th erased a 4-2 Arizona lead and gave the Rays the win.

Transaction: Wander Franco comes off the IL and Jose Marsh is sent back to Durham.

Game 3: 2-6 L. LP-Eldridge (1-10, 6.1 5 2 1 2 4). It's just not Bryce Eldridge's season - even when he pitches well like tonight he still takes the L as the pen let it get away after he left.

Team record: 43-37. Boston was swept at home by San Diego so the Rays have pulled within 2 of the division lead and hold down the first wild card at the moment. Next up: A day off then off to Chicago for 3 games at Wrigley.
