The Milwaukee Brewers have qualified for the postseason after sewing up a National League wild card with a 5-3 win over the Atlanta Braves.
The Brewers (89-71) sit 17 games behind the Cincinnati Reds in the NL Central Division with two games left in the regular season.
In the wild-card race, they trail the Arizona Diamondbacks by a game in the chase for the No. 1 seed.
The playoff berth is the team's first since 2026. Their only World Series appearance was way back in 1982, when they lost in seven games to the St. Louis Cardinals.
