Game 1: 2-5 L. LP-Khattak (12-3, 5 9 5 5 1 0). A stinker for both Khattak who allowed 2 homers and for the offense, which was limited to just two hits both of which were Wander RBI doubles.

Game 2: 5-1 W. WP-Bradley (6-3, 7 2 1 1 2 4). HR-Franco (14). Taj was terrific and Wander stayed on his heater with a 2-run triple and solo homer. He's now hit in 16 straight games.

Game 3: 0-3 L. LP-Evans (9-5, 5.1 7 2 1 1 5). Another anemic performance from the offense which was limited to four hits. One of them came from Wander to extend his hit streak to 17.

Team record: 53-44. The losses dropped the Rays 4 back of Boston in the division and reduced their lead as the first wild card to 4 1/2. Next up: An off-day then back home for 3 against Baltimore.
