The American League Player of the Week award was given to Philadelphia Athletics shortstop Honus Wagner. In picking up the award, Wagner went 13 for 29 (.448 batting average) with 2 Double, 2 Triples, 3 Runs, 6 RBIs. 2 Walks, and 4 Stolen Bases to finish with a slash line of .448/.484/.655 which resulted in a 231 OPS+, 239 wRC+. 0.39 WPA, and 0.5 WAR. This is the 2nd time that Wagner has won PofW honors.
